CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Keep your OOF gear looking fresh.
🧺 WASHING YOUR OOF TEES
Machine wash cold
Use cold water to preserve color and prevent shrinkage.
Wash with like colors
Dark with dark, light with light. Prevents color bleeding.
Turn inside out
Protects the print and fabric from friction.
Use mild detergent
Avoid harsh detergents or bleach, they damage the fabric and graphics.
Don't overload the washer
Give your tee room to move. It'll wash better and last longer.
🌪️ DRYING YOUR OOF TEES
Tumble dry low
Low heat prevents shrinkage and protects the fabric.
Remove promptly
Don't let it sit in the dryer. Prevents wrinkles and over-drying.
Air dry when possible
Hang or lay flat to dry. Best for the fabric, graphics, and the planet.
❌ DON'T DO THIS
🚫 Don't bleach - Damages fabric and graphics
🚫 Don't use fabric softener - Breaks down cotton fibers over time
🚫 Don't dry clean - Unnecessary and harsh on the fabric
🚫 Don't wring or twist - Can stretch and damage the tee
🔥 IRONING
Iron inside out if needed
Use low to medium heat. Ironing inside out protects the graphics.
Don't iron directly on prints
This will damage or melt the design. Use a towel and lower heat if you do.
Or skip ironing altogether
Hang or fold properly and you won't need to iron.
🧢 CARING FOR YOUR OOF HATS
Spot clean only
Use a damp cloth with mild soap to clean stains.
Air dry
Never put hats in the washer or dryer. Let them air dry naturally.
Store properly
Keep shape by storing on a flat surface or hat rack.
Don't soak or submerge
Can damage the structure and embroidery.
🌟 KEEPING IT FRESH
Wash only when needed
Don't wash after every wear. Spot clean small stains.
Hang to air out
After wearing, hang your tee to air out before putting it away.
Fold, don't hang
Hanging can stretch the shoulders. Fold and store flat.
Rotate your tees
Don't wear the same one constantly. Rotate to extend life.
🧪 STAIN REMOVAL
Act fast
The sooner you treat a stain, the easier it comes out.
Blot, don't rub
Rubbing spreads the stain. Blot gently with a damp cloth.
Use gentle stain remover
Test on a small area first. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Wash after treating
Once you've treated the stain, wash as usual (cold water, inside out).

Fold and store in a cool, dry place
Avoid damp basements or hot attics.

❓ CARE FAQ
Can I use hot water?
No. Cold water only. Hot water causes shrinkage and fades colors.
Can I put it in the dryer?
Yes, but use low heat. Air drying is better for longevity.
What if I accidentally used bleach?
Bleach damage is permanent. We can't replace items damaged by bleach.
How often should I wash it?
Only when it's actually dirty. Over-washing wears out fabric faster.
Will following these instructions prevent shrinkage?
Our tees are pre-shrunk, but washing in hot water or high heat can still cause shrinkage. Cold wash + low heat dry = minimal shrinkage.
What if my tee gets damaged from washing?
If you followed care instructions and there's an issue, email info@wearoutoffuel.com. If you didn't follow care instructions, we can't replace it.
🛡️ OUR GUARANTEE
